 Camping in the UK with a MH.

Thank God for Google maps as this is my everything for destinations camps & with the help of a few apps that fellow campers I have meet on the way told me about. Brit Stops App is for mostly pubs that you can use their Carparks also Park4night is for free locations that I found a camp only 5mins from Goodwood racetrack that I stayed last night.

I’m free camped since I picked up the Motor last Saturday 👍

This morning I took photos of the air traffic 

Contrails that fill the sky’s over this part of world. The countryside down around Goodwood reminds me of South Gippsland with rolling green hills but the roadkill is a bit different.

Also the narrow lanes with traffic , tractors & lorry’s keeps you on your toes as the locals fly past as the Aussie tourist is holding them up HA! Today I drove via Goodwood House (see photo of front of house workers setting up the huge displays that are for FOS held there every July) on my way up to Mclarens F1 base in Woking but they didn’t want to let me in so stuff them and drove up to Brooklands Museum 15mins up the road and  WOW 🤩 what a day will post this tomorrow 👍😎🏁

  Walking into the plaza facing the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela felt strangely surreal. Back home in Darwin 🇦🇺

Well what a holiday WOW 🤩  After 3 and half months on the road Deb & I decided that we would come home as it’s time. We were blessed with everything we experienced and the people we meet on the way but missing family and friends so time to get back to the best country in the world and this time of year the best part of our country NT Darwin. Frankfurt to Singapore 12.5 hours , 2 hour to changeover then Singapore to Darwin  nearly 5 hours. Arrived in Darwin lovely afternoon 😀 ☀️☀️

British Motor Museum

  British Motor Museum   Stayed Wednesday night on the Thames river at Shepparton Lock free parking and they gave me the opportunity to operated the lock for boats going up a down the river. Next day went to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon with Jaguar Heritage Museum & workshop next door. Missed the Silk Cut Jags by a day as they were on the way to Le Mans for the 100th anniversary. Mechanic’s we’re trying to get started the Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart Gas Turbine Rover-BRM race car that raced and finished 10th in the 1965 Le Mans. Spent another 3 hours here with everything from Lady Penelope’s limo to a twin engined Moke also the 2004 Mark Webbers F1 Jag. 👍😎🏁
