London Kensington Palace

Arriving after the 13 hour flight into London we made our way via the underground train network to our Airbnb in Earls Court Square. Our host Sofia is lovely as is her 13 yo dog Tuesday.

Brock and Adam: the neighborhood is dotted with Aston’s and Lambos. Tesla’s are one of the most common cars parked here .. I would have seen about 50 during our short walk. Electric vehicles including vans, taxis and double decker e-buses are everywhere.

After a bit of a rest we headed out for a walk to Kensington palace, and attended an exhibition ‘Crown to couture’ inside Kensington palace. Highlights were dresses worn by Audrey Hepburn, Anna Win tour, and the incredible court dresses from the 1700’s. Priceless tiaras and the obscure chandelier dress worn by Katie Perry were also on display

On our way home we passed the statue of Albert and Albert Hall. Back at our Airbnb we were exhausted intending to have a short nap at 2pm .. waking at 10pm (5:30am Darwin time).
