9TH Day Isle Of Man 🇮🇲
Last day on the IOM so went down south to do some sightseeing. Lots of bikes on the road as no racing today so like me exploring. I was blown away by the beautiful place this is and the great weather makes it easy to get around.
Speaking to a few locals saying numbers are down this year they think due to the increasing prices for ferry, accommodation, food. All the locals I meet were very helpful and wanting to keep the TT going as it’s a big part of the island’s history and income.
Glad I made the trip as it’s the last true Motorsport event that was what it was like back in the early days.
No risk assessment here and the bikes are getting faster. 👍😎🏁
P.S Also I didn’t know that all the Bee Gees were born on the IOM.
Hey Dean, looks like you've had a good day travelling around our island. We passed you yesterday on our way back home, we were the last to leave yesterday, so you would've had the field to yourself. Peace & quiet..
ReplyDeleteI think you said you were leaving Tuesday morning, it was a pleasure to meet you & spend an evening in your company, safe travels on your journey ahead & look forward to your next blog. Cheers lucky Steve 👍 😉
