Ferry from IOM to Heysham






















 Left the IOM early this morning roughly takes about 4 hours. Smooth seas, lot of bikes leaving but more coming over for race week. Drove up to the Lakes District Windermere. On the way called in to the Lakeside Motor Museum that has a separate display of all of Campbells speed machines on land & water. Both father Malcolm and son Donald held many speed records. 

Malcolm was one of the few land/water speed record holders of his era to die of natural causes, for so many had died in crashes like his son did on lake Coniston Water 1967 not far from where I’m staying tonight 👍😎🏁

  Walking into the plaza facing the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela felt strangely surreal. Back home in Darwin 🇦🇺

Well what a holiday WOW 🤩  After 3 and half months on the road Deb & I decided that we would come home as it’s time. We were blessed with everything we experienced and the people we meet on the way but missing family and friends so time to get back to the best country in the world and this time of year the best part of our country NT Darwin. Frankfurt to Singapore 12.5 hours , 2 hour to changeover then Singapore to Darwin  nearly 5 hours. Arrived in Darwin lovely afternoon 😀 ☀️☀️

British Motor Museum

  British Motor Museum   Stayed Wednesday night on the Thames river at Shepparton Lock free parking and they gave me the opportunity to operated the lock for boats going up a down the river. Next day went to the British Motor Museum at Gaydon with Jaguar Heritage Museum & workshop next door. Missed the Silk Cut Jags by a day as they were on the way to Le Mans for the 100th anniversary. Mechanic’s we’re trying to get started the Graham Hill, Jackie Stewart Gas Turbine Rover-BRM race car that raced and finished 10th in the 1965 Le Mans. Spent another 3 hours here with everything from Lady Penelope’s limo to a twin engined Moke also the 2004 Mark Webbers F1 Jag. 👍😎🏁
