 Goboony is what might you ask ?

I wanted to do the Isle of Man 🇮🇲 TT race and looking at all the options in accommodation on offer I came up a MH as best all round option for accommodation, wheels & meals. Goboony is like Airbnb but for MHs that private owners can rent out to individuals locals or overseas travels like me. I picked mine up from Barry who lives just south of Liverpool UK 🇬🇧 where I took the ferry to Douglas IOM 🇮🇲 I pre booked the IOM ferry 12MTHS - 2022 May due to demand TT time of the year. Booking the average length of MH 6.5m at around 500 pounds return. My stay of 10days , 1st week of the TT practice + Saturday /Sunday racing. The ferry is your dearest part of the IOM the rest is in my case free as i wild camped (free camping) and the IOM 🇮🇲 is one of the easiest most welcoming part of my 4 weeks of tripping around the UK. Costs around 80 pounds per day hire MH + 1000 pounds bond. I had 3000 miles limit for the 30 days and I Have done around 2150 Miles Cheapest Diesel One pound 30 pence per litre and getting around 32MPH out of Fiat Ducato van. Professionally fitted out with double bed small 3 way fridge toilet & shower. I have only spent 100 pounds in camp stays as 90% of my time was free camping. 

The van is registered for Brit stops mostly for pub car parks but I used an app Park4night was the best for free camping in the UK. 👍😎🏁🇬🇧


Blessed with perfect weather only had showers for 2 days and only damage lost the Fiat badge from the grill 🙏

Well what a holiday WOW 🤩  After 3 and half months on the road Deb & I decided that we would come home as it’s time. We were blessed with everything we experienced and the people we meet on the way but missing family and friends so time to get back to the best country in the world and this time of year the best part of our country NT Darwin. Frankfurt to Singapore 12.5 hours , 2 hour to changeover then Singapore to Darwin  nearly 5 hours. Arrived in Darwin lovely afternoon 😀 ☀️☀️

Touring Paris Citroen 2CV

  Had a great day with Deb yesterday touring around Paris in a Iconic French car the Citroen 2CV. Simon our driver tour guide a student from the UK that does this job part time was great as he loves driving in Paris. After the tour he dropped us off at the Arc de Triomphe and you and go up to the top for 13 euros ea. We walked straight in as with all the bad press on Paris not many tourists about but French Army everywhere  🚗😎🇫🇷

Camino day 22 to Santiago

  Walking into the plaza facing the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela felt strangely surreal. Thoughts and expectations of what would the Camino be like, would I be strong enough, will I stay well, will I find somewhere to sleep?  How would I feel when I reached Santiago?  I felt overjoyed in completing the pilgrimage, I was amazed by the Cathedral and the tomb of Saint James, and grateful that the journey had delivered the simplicity of life as a pilgrim that I imagined.  At the start of the pilgrimage you are provided with your Credencial (pilgrims passport) which allows you to stay in the albergues, and is proof of your journey as you get it stamped at churches, places of interest, cafes and albergues along the way.
