Snetterton Race Track


















 Snetterton was originally a RAF airfield, WWII later used by the United States Army Air Force. The airfield opened in May 1943 and closed in November 1948.

Not until 1951 car / motorcycle racing started. Current owner is ex F1 driver Jonathan Palmer. The circuit's corner names are drawn from some of motorsport's greats,

whilst Wilson is named in honour of Palmer's former protégé Justin Wilson who was killed in the USA in 2015. This weekend is club event including 

Caterham 7s formula fords even some MX5 Cup Cars. Free camping tonight infield parked right on the side of track including in tickets for the weekend. Hung out with the Haynes family, great bunch of guys photo from the left Max driver his dad, uncle and Max’s Grandfather 3rd place overall in the Caterham 7s for the weekend all wanting to come out to camp with us at Bathurst 👍😎🏁

Well what a holiday WOW 🤩  After 3 and half months on the road Deb & I decided that we would come home as it’s time. We were blessed with everything we experienced and the people we meet on the way but missing family and friends so time to get back to the best country in the world and this time of year the best part of our country NT Darwin. Frankfurt to Singapore 12.5 hours , 2 hour to changeover then Singapore to Darwin  nearly 5 hours. Arrived in Darwin lovely afternoon 😀 ☀️☀️

Touring Paris Citroen 2CV

  Had a great day with Deb yesterday touring around Paris in a Iconic French car the Citroen 2CV. Simon our driver tour guide a student from the UK that does this job part time was great as he loves driving in Paris. After the tour he dropped us off at the Arc de Triomphe and you and go up to the top for 13 euros ea. We walked straight in as with all the bad press on Paris not many tourists about but French Army everywhere  🚗😎🇫🇷

Camino day 22 to Santiago

  Walking into the plaza facing the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela felt strangely surreal. Thoughts and expectations of what would the Camino be like, would I be strong enough, will I stay well, will I find somewhere to sleep?  How would I feel when I reached Santiago?  I felt overjoyed in completing the pilgrimage, I was amazed by the Cathedral and the tomb of Saint James, and grateful that the journey had delivered the simplicity of life as a pilgrim that I imagined.  At the start of the pilgrimage you are provided with your Credencial (pilgrims passport) which allows you to stay in the albergues, and is proof of your journey as you get it stamped at churches, places of interest, cafes and albergues along the way.
