Snetterton Race Track
Snetterton was originally a RAF airfield, WWII later used by the United States Army Air Force. The airfield opened in May 1943 and closed in November 1948.
Not until 1951 car / motorcycle racing started. Current owner is ex F1 driver Jonathan Palmer. The circuit's corner names are drawn from some of motorsport's greats,
whilst Wilson is named in honour of Palmer's former protΓ©gΓ© Justin Wilson who was killed in the USA in 2015. This weekend is club event including
Caterham 7s formula fords even some MX5 Cup Cars. Free camping tonight infield parked right on the side of track including in tickets for the weekend. Hung out with the Haynes family, great bunch of guys photo from the left Max driver his dad, uncle and Max’s Grandfather 3rd place overall in the Caterham 7s for the weekend all wanting to come out to camp with us at Bathurst πππ
