France WWI and WWII memorials


Bayeux was our next stop after Paris, and the start of our tour of war memorials. 
A run in the morning around the town of Bayeux and past another lovely church before heading to the d day areas. 

Dean’s blog goes into more detail, but Churchills plan to build temporary ports off Normandy beaches definitely was a game changer in WWII. 


Omaha Beach was a reminder of the terrible loss of life.
