France WWI and WWII memorials
Bayeux was our next stop after Paris, and the start of our tour of war memorials.
A run in the morning around the town of Bayeux and past another lovely church before heading to the d day areas. Dean’s blog goes into more detail, but Churchills plan to build temporary ports off Normandy beaches definitely was a game changer in WWII.
Omaha Beach was a reminder of the terrible loss of life.
